As promised, here are some snaps from today's joint first birthday party, which we held at Wamberal Park. It was a glorious Summers day, and considering the sugar content of the cake, remarkably scarcely a tantrum (from either bubs or adults) in sight! I don't know who had more fun, Fern or myself, but neither her nor I stopped eating the entire time... every time I looked over at her she was stealing another fruit skewer off an unsuspecting bub! Like mother like daughter...
I have started the planning for Fern's own first birthday party; after much deliberation I chose a rubber ducky theme. I have a few ideas up my sleeve, but please if you have seen any amazing styling/ food ideas on the web or have been to a similar party please share!
